How would you simplify this: ³√(2z)^6 ? ³√(2z)^6 = (2z)² {divided the exponent, 6, by the root, 3} = 4z² {took everything in parentheses to the 2nd power} When taking the root of a variable or expression with an exponent, just divide the exponent by the root. Algebra House
