How do u convert this equation in converted into slope intercept form?  y - 2 = 5(x + 3)

Slope-intercept form is y = mx + b
m is the slope
b is the y-intercept

Just remove the parentheses and solve the equation for y.

y - 2 = 5(x + 3)
y - 2 = 5x + 15   {used distributive property}
y = 5x + 17   {added 2 to each side}
