A company has developed a new video game console.  After completing cost analysis and demand forecasts, the company has determined that the profit function for the new console is f(g) = -250g² + 70,000g - 4,570,000,
​ where g is the number of consoles sold.  What is the domain of the profit function?

B.)  all rational numbers
C.)  all integers greater than or equal to 0
D.)  all rational numbers greater than or equal to 0

Remember, the domain is the set of x values.  In this case, g values, representing the number of consoles sold.

Since it is not good business to sell a fractional part of a console, and impossible to sell a negative number of consoles.  The domain (number of consoles) would consist of all integers greater than or equal to 0.
