A triangle has an area of 150 m² and a perpendicular height of 15 m. Find the length of its base.

Area of a triangle = (1/2)(base)(height)
A = (1/2)bh

150 = (1/2)(b)(15) {substituted given information into area formula}
150 = 7.5b {multiplied 1/2 by 15}
b = 20 {divided each side by 7.5}

base = 20 m
