1.) Why am I not getting enough playing time on the basketball team?
Work at practicing your shooting and ball handling. Work harder on defense. Work harder in practice. Work hard, on your own, all the time, and undistracted. 15,000 tweets will not score a point, but taking 15,000 shots will change your life.
2.) Why is my team not winning more games?
Work to make yourself better, then work to make your teammates better. You are wasting valuable work time by asking why you're not any good. Larry Bird would shoot for hours before and after every game, often by himself, in the dim lights of the Boston Garden, and in complete silence and focus. That's work and you don't have to ask why he did it.......
Work at taking better notes. Work at asking more questions. Work at doing all the homework.
Work at studying harder for tests.
4.) Why can't I find a job?
Work at looking harder to find a job. Work at thinking of odd jobs or even better, original jobs that can create an income for yourself.
5.) Why is my house such a mess?
Work at cleaning it.
6.) Why don't I have any friends?
Work at being at being a better listener. Work at being kind, funny, or entertaining but not overboard to the point of being annoying or problem causing.
7.) Why am I so out of shape?
Guess what.....work to get in shape. Work at walking, running, doing push-ups or sit-ups. Work at educating yourself on eating better and work at doing it.
8.) Why doesn't anyone listen to me?
Work at finding a better way to deliver your message. Work at understanding their point of view, beliefs, and expectations, so that you can meet them.
The w's.....why, work, and win. Take out the why and what do you have?
It is truly amazing what work can do for you. Also, and just as important, you can't work while being distracted by the addiction of social networks!
